After 20 years of personally handing out over 50,000 Expect a Miracle cards to clients and people I’ve met all over the world and experiencing some massive positive transformations for some people, I’m now taking this simple, yet very powerful tool further via this website and a series of books, “You Can… Expect A Miracle”.

Probably, the best thing for me personally is that so many people I give a card to, no matter what their station in life is, they turn the card over to find it blank on the back. After a pause, I say,

“Would you like a miracle?” They almost always say, “Oh yes!”.

My observation of the change in state of most individuals on receiving the card, reading the words, “Expect A Miracle”, turning the card over to find no name, no advertising, no gimmick, purely a message of hope, is amazing to witness.

Most people move to an enlivened state of wellbeing. For some who only show a glimmer of hope that it’s possible for their life to be even a bit better than it is right now, it can be a hugely uplifting event. As my wife Dr Judy Hinwood says,
” let’s at least be seed-sowers”.

Judy says, that miracles are the flowing of spirit from virtual reality into the physical five senses reality in which we live.

James Allen said in the book “As A Man Thinketh”, “What the mind of man can see and believe, it can achieve”. A shift in focus of a person from where they are currently, to where they would like to be, can be a truly momentous moment in that person’s life.

Tony Robbins says we can change our emotional state and change our destiny ‘in a heart beat’, and I believe this is a truth. Ones’ expectation can change from doom and gloom to a miracle state in the time it takes to register a new thought.

Where did the idea of an Expect A Miracle card come from?
I first saw a sign “Expect A Miracle” in a supply store at a Parker Chiropractic Seminar we attended in Dallas, Texas in 1977. I loved the conceptual thought that if my patients “Expected A Miracle” every time they came to my office this thought would manifest into a wellness mode of thinking rather than a disease and sickness focused state of mind.

In Melbourne, Australia in 1987 my wife Judy and I attended a seminar called Money and You presented by the Excellerated Learning Institute. The Facilitator was Robert Kiyosaki and the Director of Logistics was a Chilean woman DC Cordova.

DC Cordova gave me a card that said…



I was so taken by the card I asked DC if I could reproduce it and hand it out to others. Her response was “go ahead, I found the cards in a Unity Church bookshop originally”.

So I went to our printer the next week and in February 1987, ten days after the seminar I started handing out my own Expect A Miracle cards.

From small beginnings…

As well as creating a positive energy focus at www.expect-a-miracle.net, the community will generate a collection of inspiring stories that will be published in at least one of the series of books, “You Can… Expect A Miracle”.

As Zig Zigler says, we all need “a check up from the neck up to remove stinkin thinkin!”
