It Went Off Like A Fire Cracker

Dr Carl Hamilton suffered a massive heart attack in about 1993. I got a phone call telling me Carl had had the heart attack and could I please go to the hospital.

Carl and I had become close, particularly sharing an interest in computers. He was also an associate at my Clinic at the time.

I went to the hospital and here was my mate full of tubes and monitors. The heart monitor was all over the place and things were not looking good for Carl.

I looked at him and he feebly told me, he was going to die and I said, Not if I can help it. I told him to prepare for the hardest atlas adjustment of all time. I also said, what the heck, you think you are going to die, so you have nothing to lose.

I adjusted his atlas with purpose and intent, and wanting to see the lateral mass move in his neck.

It went off like a fire cracker and bugger me', his monitor reading was normal within 2-3 minutes. He was out of hospital in 8 days. Blood tests revealed little damage to the heart.

Carl today is still my associate. Following his recovery, he practiced in the UK then returned last year to Australia to celebrate his 50th year as a Chiropractor, a fantastic achievement ! We have much to be grateful for, the skills that we have learnt and the determination to make a difference.

I am still humbled by the magnitude of this miracle. Carl and Anne (Carl's wife) are now very close friends.
