Miracles of Life

Miracles abound, in fact each day is a miracle.

The sun rises, the birds sing.  I have fresh food to eat and water to drink.

There are people about me to love and care for.

I have a purpose in each day.

I am physically well and able.

My chest expands as I breathe, I can sense my heart beating.

I enjoy the softness of my dog’s fur, I recall the sweet smell of my horse.

For thirty five years I owned a white stallion.  On many occasions I was almost killed.   On a regular basis my dreams were filled with horses.

I had dreamt of the day my horse would die and when the day arrived I recognised it.  That day was a miracle.

Intuition is a miracle, a knowing that cannot be explained.

Watching my children grow older, learn and develop is a miracle.

The Berlin Wall falling was a miracle, the end of the Cold War, the end of apartheid.

The shift in consciousness currently occurring around health, the environment and our future as a species is a miracle.

The hope I feel for the future, the faith I have in humanity, the trust I have that love can overcome all things is a miracle.

Miracles abound if we can learn to expect them.
