It's Working Senor, It's Working

A couple of years ago my wife Judy and I were in London, England to present one of our seminars to European Chiropractors and visit out youngest son who had moved there from Australia three years earlier.

On the Sunday after the Seminar, Rod, his partner Beth, Judy and I had a day walking around exploring London. At around 2pm we all decided we were hungry and Rod and Beth knew of a great Nando's Restaurant in the area that had the most outstanding chilli and herb flamed grilled chicken.

On arriving at the Restaurant we joined the queue just inside the front door and were told by the greeter that it would be about forty five minutes wait for a table. There were about ten people ahead of us in the line. As it had just started raining we thought a forty five minute wait in a dry and warm environment was far better than searching for another eatery in the rain.

As is my custom I hand the person I'm talking to an Expect A Miracle card. I told our Hispanic greeter that I was sure folks would leave sooner than he thought so we would wait in line for a table to become vacant.

I asked our greeter for his name he said Jos`e and he told us that he was from El Salvador. Jos`e then asked me could the Expect A Miracle card help him get anything he wanted in life.

My answer is always, absolutely ! If your intention is extremely strong and you expect a miracle to happen, it so often does. I told him of William Allen's statement, What the mind of man can see and believe, it can achieve.

Jos`e then started to get noticeably excited and I asked him what the miracle was he was seeking. He answered, I can't tell you Senior with ladies here, so I encouraged him to whisper it in my ear as the ladies would not feel it was rude.

He was obviously very excited about his thought so he came up close to me and whispered in my ear. Senior, you see that beautiful waitress over there, she's hot, I really want that hot chick. I kept listening as he went further to explain that she didn't know he was alive and had not responded to his approaches and advances in the past.

I assured Josَe that with the Expect A Miracle card in his pocket his wish could come true. He only had to go for it.

Off went Jos`e about his duties and 10 minutes later he returned with a gift of a special antipasto plate for the four of us to nibble on as we waited in line for our table.

On giving us his gift of the food plate he also shared his excitement with me, he said, it's working Senior, it's working! I shared his wish with Judy, Beth and Rod and we all smiled at each other and watched Jos`e's antics as he strutted his stuff for the hot chick'. It was fun to see.

Instead of forty five minutes for a table, we had one in thirty minutes and Jos`e would returned about every ten minutes to report back to me his positive results. Each time his, it's working Senior, it's working was more passionate and alive.

We all had an exceptional lunch that day, a fun experience, a special family time together as well as seeing these three magic words, Expect A Miracle bring joy to Jos`e's life in London; his newfound home.
