Drought Depression to Recovery

An eighty year old farmer, after seven years of drought, became depressed for the first time in his life. He lost his appetite and with it, 10kg of body weight.

He spent most of the day lying down. He couldn't sleep day or night. He went to his local GP who prescribed antidepressants. These didn't seem to do anything but make him unsteady on his feet.

When he gave his wife the bullets to the gun for her to hide from him, his wife called a chiropractor in the city who she'd heard could help with emotional problems.

On the first day the farmer had to be assisted from the car to the chiropractors office. The chiropractor found an NEC (Neuro Emotional Complex) which related to earlier financial difficulties when he first started farming and after the chiropractor clearing that he felt a bit better.

He continued to stay in the city seeing the chiropractor 2-3 times for four weeks until he felt fit enough to return home.

When he returned home he worked for 3 solid days, on his own, carting the hay into storage. He said he was dying and would be dead without the miracle of NET (Neuro Emotional Technique - a branch of Chiropractic).
