The Birth of Jimmy

The birth and life of my nephew Jimmy has and continues to be one of my greatest blessings and miracle. Jimmy is a Downs Syndrome child who is now 26 years old and he approaches almost  every day  with a smile and a chuckle. Being with him can be trying at times, but the love that he gives to us all without thought is priceless.

Every person he met or knew when he was at school still know him and they all still greet him whenever they see him and get and give him a  big hug too.

Jimmy has never been able to learn enough to work or live on his own, but that does not keep  him from doing things or lending a strong helping hand whenever it is needed. He loves to help with most any task.

I thank my God for bringing Jim into my life. He is a daily reminder of how miracles come to us in very special ways.
