Dear John & Judy,
I was sitting here on the dock counting my blessings doing some yoga when you and Judy popped in to my head.   We have know each other for 15 years where you have been a mentor in business and co speaker in the direct selling days, then becoming a friend, my Chiropractor, and now an inspiration and Author of a book that has changed mine and my families lives.

Since our last meeting at your home in June 2008 something has shifted in us, our home, and my son, after having that unexpected visit and cup of tea that turned into a think tank session and reading your book “You Can Expect A Miracle”.

Brandon was very lost in Year 10 as to what he wanted to do in life, he was not focused in school or sport, pretty sad kid actually.  He went from hard to get out of bed and off the computer, gaming and face book at night, to a motivated young man stepping up to challenges with a different attitude and asking questions about how to step into leadership rolls.  In his senior year he took out 3 of the 4 awards in his house. Leader of his Gymnastics team to a 3rd GPS Championship and represented his state in the nationals wining their division, then was selected to represent Australia at an International Invitational in Los Angles just 4 months ago.  As a parent we could not have been more proud and excited to see the shifts.

Liz started expanding her business in bold ways, thinking outside the box and put a lot of old principles and skills to work we had learned though the years but just got out of the habit of doing. Our relationship went to a new level and as a communicating couple we are in a great place.

I decided to stop thinking about everything I wanted to do in my life and start putting it into action.  This company, B&M Display Solutions is one example of what actually came from an innocent cup of tea with the Hinwood’s and a little blue book you gave me John.

You Can Expect a Miracle is a book I now have lent to several people. Come to think of it, your original copy is with a 15 year old boy from Townsville, as I write this note to you, with his dad on a road trip kinda lost and looking for his miracle.  His father is into healing…. Wow… that is what I am talking about… until now I hadn’t seen the connection… another person… and especially a young man’s dad happens to catch up with me on the coast for a coffee, we get onto the subject of life, school, careers paths, his distain for schools and teachers, authority and …and…my copy is now on the Bruce Hwy heading north. And some how I know it is in the right hands, and better yet the young man is in the right hands with the little ‘blue book’ on his lap and in his hands.  WOW!.

Anyway John, I just wanted to thank you and Judy for your friendship, your availability when we need you, and the little ‘blue book’…  You have not come back into our life by accident.

We love and miss your company.

Looks like a tea or meal at our place the next time you are up this way.
