A Miracle Gift

I heard John speak at the Reconnection Seminar in Hamburg, Germany and he gave me an Expect A Miracle card. In the evening, my taxi driver seemed very depressed and said that he had no hope in his life. He said that he had a sad experience last month. I took out the Expect A Miracle card and gave it to him. He said “I don’t believe in miracles anymore”. Then I said, “they are real”. He said, “I should respect you”.

Then he started to speak about his view on miracles and spirituality. Then we arrived home and I paid him double the cab fare. He said “no, no”. I said “this is a miracle maybe”. And he said “maybe there are other miracles”. We spoke for about ½ an hour together and we were laughing and talking. We exchanged addresses and he said next time you come back to Hamburg, I will show you the town and will tell you an exercise I know to tranquilize your mind. He was fun company and very happy to talk to and laugh with.

It was a complete transformation, because to start with he was like there was no chance in life for him and after me giving him a miracle fare he was talking and laughing.

I was happy about the gift I gave him.
