A True Life Story

Hello my name is *Maria and this is a part of my life story.

I was in hospital for 4 weeks trying to remember my past, or even who I was.
When I finally headed home from the hospital I had to stay with my Brother and Sister so they could help me.

So during that time I had therapy at a ladies’ group which was run out of a church which was close to where I lived. I went to therapy every day. I also had to learn how to do things all over again, I just couldn’t remember anything not even how to look after my own child. It was a very slow recovery, but gradually my life started to come back together.

24 years ago I met my wonderful companion, who now is my Husband of 17 years. When he came into my life, things changed around completely for us and then out of the blue we were having a baby (after Doctor’s had told me that I couldn’t have anymore). Our Son was born in July! What a wonderful surprise.  This completed our family.

Recently we moved to a country town on 40 acres and have built a new home. By reading my story I hope that this will help others who have or are going through a similar crisis.
