The Why Came Crashing

I started mentoring with Dr Judy Hinwood last year and soon realized that I needed an extended holiday. The original plan was to take six months off; I finally reduced my break to three months.

So I planned to freelance three months of touring around Europe and organized an amazing locum doctor and my fantastic chiropractic assistant to take over during the holiday.

When organizing my tour I felt uneasy and undecided about where to go. I wasn't excited enough and truly wondered in the end, why I was even taking the break.

The why came crashing in two days before my departure was due. I received a call from my brother who was holidaying back home in New Caledonia with his family and our parents. My mother was very ill. I immediately took a plane to be by her side. Three months later, exactly, she passed away.

The MIRACLE here is that I had organized everything so I could be totally free and completely available all that time. I eventually took the six months off that I had originally written in my goal book.

The universe had a plan for my mother and I so we could have the best quality time possible together, knowing that this was the most important thing for both of us.

I will cherish those moments and memories we shared together in these final months for the rest of my life.
